Iroquois West Upper Elementary News
Please note a change in our calendar leading up to our LAST DAY of SCHOOL.
We will be switching schedules between May 20th and May 27th. Wednesday, May 20th will be a FULL DAY of student attendance. Wednesday, May 27th will be a 2 Hour Early Dismissal for students while staff attend to School Improvement initiatives, end of year activities, and tasks.

Due to the forecast of dangerously low wind chills and uncertain road conditions for tomorrow morning, Iroquois West will have an E-Learning Day, tomorrow, Monday, January 26th. Students attending programs outside the district will also NOT be in session. This includes, but is not limited to KACC, RAAC, SALT, MENTA, Cissna Park, Bryce Ash Grove, and Watseka. Decisions on extra-curricular events will be made on Monday afternoon and will be communicated in a timely manner.

Due to a water main break in Thawville yesterday and the boiler not operating correctly, IWUES / Thawville will have an e-learning day today, Monday December 15, 2025.
ALL OTHER BUILDINGS ARE IN SESSION.
ONLY 4th and 5th grade at IWUES / Thawville will have an E-Learning Day. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
