Principal's Page
Hello! I am excited to be the Principal at IWUES this school year. Our mission at UES is to instill learning as a life-long process by creating an environment where each student develops their full potential, empowered with confidence, and prepared for future challenges as respectful and responsible citizens. As Principal of UES, I envision a collaborative relationship between student, parent, teacher, and myself to ensure every student is equipped with the skills needed in order to be successful.
With 15 years in education, I bring many years of experience with me. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from McKendree University in southern Illinois in 2008. From there I obtained my Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement from University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. I have been a special education teacher for the past 10 years in grades K-5. Recently, I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Governors State University. This is my first year as a Principal in this capacity.
Let’s make 2024- 2025 the best year yet. To do so, we will need to foster a collaborative relationship. My door is always open, and I welcome and value your input. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Here’s to a great school year,
Mrs. Bleyle
